Minigrid Navigation not working

Although some of the java associated with Events calendar seems to be working, (calendar toooltips, the Admin Google Map Preview etc, ) the previous/Next month Navigation on the minigrid calendar are not.

The site is http://www.whatsoninglossop.com minigrid calendar is on the homepage

Any suggestions as to what might be the issue.

FYI, thought it may be a conflict with the slider java, but disabled this & still no joy.

Hi Duncan. Thanks for the note here, and sorry to hear you’re having issues. You are the second user to bring this up since launching 2.0.7 so it’s definitely possible something is up. But from the sounds of it, at least for that other user, it looks to be a conflict between the new code and something else on their site. The fact that I’m unable to recreate the issue on my default 2011 theme confirms this.

Are you in a position where you can test deactivating your other plugins one-by-one to see if a conflict exists on that end, then reverting to the default 2011 theme (with no plugins active) to see if the issue persists? If we can identify the conflict we can hopefully patch it up for next month’s maintenance release.

This is a live site, so not that easy to do that, however, Its not that complicated, so I could take it down for 1/2 hr to do what you suggest.

When I get the chance, I will do so & let you know the results. Please bear with me.

I have taken it right back to basics, disabled all plugins except events Calendar & events Calendar pro, and reverted to twenty Eleven theme (added a line in the page.php to call the minigrid calendar), and still no joy (previous & next buttons still didnt work.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks for confirming Duncan – that is very strange. While I’m fresh out of ideas on my end, let me get Jonah from our dev team to take a look here when he hits the forum next (either later tonight or sometime tomorrow). He should be able to shed a more technical set of eyes.
