Mini Calendar Widget not linking through to Day Page

I’ve realised clicking on the dates in the Mini Calendar Widget and having it update the main Events List doesn’t work unless you have the Day view enabled in the search bar… something that took me a LONG TIME to figure out.

I’ve edited the mini-calendar/single-day.php template to change the tribe_events_the_mini_calendar_day_link() function to also enable the link in Day view… cause I still am completely confused at how to hook into/filter functions via functions.php.

Anyways, that’s all.
