ParticipantSo my issue is with the mini-calendar widget. The links on the calendar are just #. I get that the tooltip was removed in favour of displaying below. But why have the date link to #? Also the Previous and next arrows on the mini calendar are also just linked to #. I have used default theme removed all plugins and it still does it. Also notice this on other ppl’s sites that use it. is there any fix to this?

MemberHi Chad,
If you visit our widget demo (and, at this time, it’s probably worth moving it to November) and then click on a day containing one or more events you can see it updates the list of events right below the mini-calendar.
So, you’re right, those links do not take the user to a different page or event a different part of the same page – hence the # – but they are used to control the widget.
Does that answer your question/is that the same as you are experiencing on your own site?
Thanks!

ParticipantNot really.
The mini calendar shows the current month. You would think clicking on the arrows at the top of the widget would display the next and or previous month. But it cant when the URL is just a #. There fore the user can only see the current month in the mini calendar widget.

ParticipantAfter looking at the demo page it seems it works on there. I am not sure why mine does not.

MemberI’m afraid it’s quite hard to help you out here as your site is inaccessible. I do note that when you opened this thread you stated you had tried deactivating all other plugins: can you confirm that at the same time you reverted to a default, unmodified theme and did that help at all?
It’s not uncommon for Javascript issues to be caused, particularly if a theme is bundled with a slider that requires an old copy of jQuery (just as an example, the actual cause could be quite different in your case).

ParticipantHi, Chad. As it’s been a couple of weeks since your last post, I’m going to close this thread. Please feel free to open a new one if you choose to pursue this further.
Thanks! 🙂
