Mini Calendar not quite working – related to memory issues bug?

I am finding that clicking on dates in the mini calendar is unreliable PLUS if I click by mistake on a date in the past it takes me off to this page on your website (!)

I normally use Divi as a theme but have left this evaluation site in twentyfourteen for now.
Using WPML, if that has any bearing. Can’t disable it as that would make the site redundant.

Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums! Let me try to help you with that one.

I checked your site, and I have a hunch that a bit more code was pasted with the shortcode into the page. To check that please open the page containing the shortcode for editing. Then in the editing area switch to Text mode and check if there is any other code around the shortcode. There shouldn’t be.

I expect it looks something like this:

<p><a href="https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/#mini-cal-shortcode" data-anchor="dl_mini-cal-shortcode">[tribe_mini_calendar]</a></p>

Let me know what you find and we’ll go further from there.

Sorry you are right! I was very quick to see a ‘bug’ because it worked sometimes, and didn’t work other times…
Plus I am moving to events calendar from another events software vendor that really doesn’t work with WPML very well. So I am hypersensitive to potential problems.
On this occasion though you are right: it was Mouse-Click-Copy-Paste error that caused my downfall, confused by it sometimes working swapping day to day and other times not at all.

I know how stressful and intensive a change in the system can be and it’s very easy to slip in a copy-paste error. It also happens to me on this forum quite often as well. :blush:
