ParticipantHello! I’ve been trying for days now to figure out what is causing my mini-calendar to not work properly. I’ve narrowed it down to a conflict with my theme, but I’m at a loss of where in the theme to look to resolve it. Everything else is functioning flawlessly, but when I put the mini-calendar widget in my sidebar the months no longer link to previous and next. I only get the return of a “#” as if it were a link that wasn’t set up yet. I’m thinking it’s a js issue but again, no idea where to start. My client was hoping to take this site live today or tomorrow so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Participantdawnjasper,
Sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Can you add the widget back to the site, so I can troubleshoot/investigate the issue further? Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participantdawnjasper,
I’m definitely seeing the issue that you’re describing now. Can you try temporarily reverting to the default 2013 theme to see if this issue persists? I suspect that this is an issue with your theme, but just want to narrow it down a bit before troubleshooting further. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

Participanthuh I didn’t get the email that you responded – grr.. guess I’ll keep this tab open from now on 🙂
It does work fine if I revert to the 2013 theme. It’s why in my original post I had said I thought it was a theme issue. I just don’t know where to figure out what the issue could be.March 19, 2014 at 2:48 pm #121250Casey
Participantdawnjasper,
While I wish I could say that the plugin seamlessly integrates with every theme out there, the reality is that custom themes have so many settings/options that it would be nearly impossible for us to account for all of those. Since everything seems to be functioning correctly in the 2013 theme, I would encourage you to reach out to the developer of your theme to have them investigate further. We’re happy to help answer any questions the developer might have about our plugin, and they can also reference all of the documentation that we have as well as they try to investigate the theme issue.
Thanks! 🙂
