ParticipantHi,
Everything is working great, but in the Mini Calendar Widget I have the list of events to display set to 0 (for design reasons), and would rather have the active dates link to a day overview (where there may be a few events on the same day). Can such a function be relatively easily changed in the widget-calendar.js? Any advice would be great – thanks.March 12, 2014 at 8:41 am #117889Barry
MemberHi – thanks for contacting us.
With the number of events to display set to zero, as you’ve done, what you are requesting is actually the behaviour I would expect (ie, days with events should link to day view itself).
I’m unsure why it isn’t working like that in your case. I do not you already tried deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default, unmodified theme though – what was the outcome of that test?

ParticipantThanks for answering so quickly.
I did try out the widget with all plug-ins disabled on the 2012 theme, but to no avail. However, when I set the widget to display 1 or more events, that works (with the list beneath the calendar), so something is working, just not quite right.March 13, 2014 at 10:14 am #118320Barry
MemberThat is odd.
You can see the calendar widget (currently configured to show 0 events) on our demo site http://wpshindig.com/event-widgets/ and that is also what I experience locally … I am unsure why you’d be seeing something other than this – particularly with no other plugins/only a default and unmodified theme.
Can you restore your site / a duplicate testing site to that state (ie, deactivate everything once again) so we can inspect it and see if there are any clues when it is in that state?

ParticipantHi Barry,
Strange, indeed the link you provide shows exactly what I was hoping to have. I’m rushing on the site, so I can’t deactivate it for a longer period of time with the new theme. I can do it when I know you would have a moment to have a look – would a relative time frame be possible (I’m on GMT +1 timezone). Thanks.March 16, 2014 at 5:41 am #119358patricia
ParticipantJust to say – I figured out the issue. Of course an obvious and simple solution:) but I had simply disabled the ‘day’ view from the plug-in settings…as soon as I activated that, the mini calendar widget links worked. Thanks in any case for having looked into the issue.
