ParticipantHi when I click on an event in the mini calendar is there a way to have the browser go to the details page of event or day? Right now it shows a loading icon and then doesn’t do anything. I was reading another thread and they may have said this is a known issue? I’d like it to go to that event or even a list of events for that month if there is a way to do this? Thanks

MemberHi sherbert,
I visited the URL you provided but could not locate an example of the mini calendar widget (it didn’t actually look like a WordPress site, is it the correct URL?).
If all you are seeing is the loading icon/spinner that indicates there is a problem and we’d be happy to help you solve this (you can see how it should operate over on our demo site).
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, sorry that URL must have gotten put in there automatically by mistake, it does not have the calendar in it. I now see how you guys made the mini calendar work, which is what my mini calendar does. Your demo here is the one I tested with http://wpshindig.com/event-widgets/ .
When you click on a day it seems you have it so it puts the top events for that day under the mini calendar. I didn’t notice change because I only had 1 event for the month. So when I clicked that day with the event it appeared nothing happened on my calendar since there was already 1 event under it. I am ok now, but is there an easy way for me to change this so when you click a day on the mini calendar it takes you to a URL such as the Calender listings view instead? Because I don’t have a lot of events this might make sense for me, I know its kind of awkward though.
Thanks

ParticipantAnd just to show a more specific example. You can see here. When I have only 1 event in a month. If you click the day of the event, it feels like nothing happens after you click. That’s what threw me off. http://petstress.net/sales/ . That’s why I was thinking jumping to a url might feel better for only 1 event a month.

MemberI do understand what you mean, but really this would have to be a customization that you’d need to make by yourself (at least if you need a solution right now) … we’d definitely be open to any feature requests you might make here though – and you might be able to find an existing request you can add your voice to:
Thanks!

ParticipantOk thanks, yeah I’ll go over it with some people now that I understand what was going on. If worth it I’ll look into modifying it, I figured its a rare circumstance so you wouldn’t need a feature for it. Thanks for the help. You can close this.
