ParticipantHello,
I’m having a slight issue with the Mini Calendar. I’ve got it setup on this page right now…
http://www.thecrossingchurch.com/events/
On the initial load of that page it shows the next 10 upcoming events (just a parameter I passed to the shortcode). However it is only showing one event for the 10th (today). If you click on the 10th it loads two events. I have noticed this issue in the past where on the initial load it is only picking up one events for the current day. So everything is working great when you click on the individual days but on the initial load and loop that is executed only 1 event from today is displayed even though there might be multiple. Three days ago there were three events and only one loaded initially.
Thanks much,

ParticipantHey Guys,
Since I didn’t get a reply on this yesterday everything looks good today as there is only one event on Monday the 11th (today). There are two events tomorrow (the 12th) so I assume that the same error will occur tomorrow when there are two events. If you would be so kind as to put in the queue to check for tomorrow that would be great.
Thanks much,

ParticipantHey Patrick,
Thanks for reaching out. In regards to the display of things, can you clarify what the exact shortcode is that you’re using? All of the parameters and such—you can just copy and paste the shortcode in its entirety here and I will take a look.
I just tested this and was not able to produce the problem so let me know.
In the meantime, just to touch on the timeline of replies here, our response times are one reply within 24 hours during the workweek. So your first post came in on Sunday, a weekend, hence the slight delay in response.
Apologies for that—thanks for your patience here!

ParticipantHey George,
No worries on the 24 hour support follow up. I completely understand. I just wanted to say that you might not see the error if you went in and checked yesterday. Anyway, today’s date has two events and they are both showing up on the website on the initial load of the mini calendar. So perhaps things are fixed. Tomorrow’s date has 5 events so that will give me a little more insight if it is truly fixed, but things are looking good today. We have WP-Super-Cache installed do you think that could have contributed to the issue if in fact it has been working properly this whole time?
Thanks?

ParticipantHey Patrick,
Thank you for these details. You mention this in your reply:
We have WP-Super-Cache installed do you think that could have contributed to the issue if in fact it has been working properly this whole time?
A caching plugin could indeed be a factor in this behavior—I suspect a conflict of some kind because I could not recreate the behavior you described after numerous attempts to do that.
If you’re able to, post your site’s System Information here and I’ll happily take a closer look—this “full profile” of your site might help me in spotting a culprit. Here’s how to post that information: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/.
Thanks!
