mini calander view

is there a way to place a number in the day of the mini calendar so they know to click on it? or incorporate a large calendar so they see items on the days of the month?

The short answer is yes.

You can tweak any view of our calendar to your liking.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Additionally, in case you did not already know, you can also embed full calendar view wherever you like: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/

Try adding the following CSS rule to your style.css file or in your Custom CSS metabox:

.home .tribe-events-calendar thead th {
font-size: 10px !important;
}
