    Hi,
I am considering moving away from the Event Espresso plugin to a combination of the Events Calendar Pro and Events Tickets Plus plugins. Is there an easy way for me to migrate my existing events?

And, an unrelated question – can I create “Sales” for specific tickets within an event, and have those visible on the front-end?

    Thanks,
    Jenny

    Hi Jenny,

Thanks for reaching out–happy to hear that you’re considering a move to our plugins! 🙂 Event Espresso does support the export of events to CSV format, which can then be imported by our free core plugin The Events Calendar. You can read more about exporting from Event Espresso here, and we have more information on CSV imports here on our Knowledgebase.

For your second question, just to clarify, are you interested in providing “sale”-type discounts for certain tickets within an event? If so, sale pricing should be supported by Event Tickets Plus to the extent that it’s supported by the e-commerce platform of your choice (such as WooCommerce). Feel free to test with a few platforms to see which works best for your needs–our support team members are on hand to answer any questions that might crop up along the way. 🙂

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Caroline,
Thanks – it looks like the csv documentation is just for the registrants, not for the events themselves. Do you know of a way to go from Event Espresso Events to Event Tickets Plus WooCommerce products?

    Thanks,
    Jenny

    Hi Jenny,

Happy to assist! Our CSV import tool actually supports the importing of not just events, but also venues, organizers, RSVPs, and tickets. We’ve provided a Knowledgebase article here with sample data for all of these import types, plus downloadable template files that can be used to set up your own CSVs for easy data import.

Does that help to address your concerns here? Let me know if there’s anything else that I can help with! 🙂 Thanks again!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
