Migrate Events Created By The Moderator to Specific User Accounts

To start out a new project with Events Calendar Pro and the Community Plugin, I have several events to enter in to the calendar as the moderator/admin. Unfortunately, these events show up only on my account in the configurations of the community plugin, not the user’s account who is sponsoring the event. For me to log in to each user to enter their events would be cumbersome. Is there a way to enter all the events while logged in to my account, and migrate the events in to the appropriate user’s accounts? After this initial launch, the users will enter their own events, but in the beginning we want the calendar events area to have events already populated and the quickest way for us to do this is have the admin/moderator enter the events. Unfortunately, when the users log in to their accounts they will not see these initial events. Is migrating these initial events to the the appropriate users from the admin account possible?

Hi,

Thanks for using Community Events.

The events use authors just like posts.

You should be able to do a bulk edit in the event list in the admin and change the author just like a post.

Since Community Events enables any WordPress role to create events, you may need to change the role of the user to an Author so you can assign them the events. Once assigned you can change them back to a lower role.
