I’m interested in whether the plugin outputs event microdata for easier parsing by search engines (and if yes, which version contains it)?

Hi!

Microdata output is generated by our free, core plugin – however at this time we are investigating a couple of shortcomings in that particular part of the system with a view to making further improvements.

You can of course grab a copy of the free plugin and take it for a spin and see if it meets your needs 🙂

That was helpful as I was able to test my scenario using the free plugin so the question can be considered answered.
If convenient please let me know – offline is okay – about schedule for planned improvements (if it’s already on the roadmap). I subscribed to news updates from this site as well.

We’re not going to be able to give you a timeline for this one, I’m afraid – and generally we don’t make any guarantees about the release date of any particular feature or fix: we are actively looking into it, though, and I’d hope to see changes here sooner rather than later 🙂
