I understand how the overrides are supposed to work, but for whatever reason, I can’t seem to get this one to work.

Real simple – I want to make a small change to the display for the venue in the meta info section. Following the directions from the themer’s guide – https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/ – I placed the edited version of venue.php in a folder located at my-theme/tribe-events/modules/meta

Unfortunately, it’s not working. Nothing I change on the file shows up on the site. No caching plugins. I cleared cache, even opened a different browser and tried it there. No changes on that file show up.

    Any clue what I’m missing?

Found an old, leftover function in the functions file that was interfering.
