Mathieu
ParticipantHi,
I have some trouble with the widget admin page. The only plugins installed are The Events Calendar, the Pro version and Community events.
This is the error message : Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 82 bytes) in /public_html/wp-includes/meta.php on line 575
I’ve already checked the memory_limit of php and it is FAR more big that enough (256M), I can provide you the phpinfo.
What can I do to not have the problem ? It seems that the error appears during the display of the countdown plugin, as it is the last title displayed.November 4, 2013 at 3:30 pm #74664Barry
MemberThat amount of memory should be ample (unless you have a truly huge number of events?) and I wonder if something else is at play here that might exhaust the memory, such as an infinite loop.
Can I ask you to post your System Information as recorded in the Events → Help admin screen – and can you also confirm that in addition to deactivating all other plugins you tried switching to a default, unmodified theme? If so did that impact on this at all?

ParticipantOk nevermind, it looks like it is now resolved with the updated. I hope it won’t happen again 🙂
