Member Pricing for Logged in Users

Hi, just wondering if there is a way to achieve either a pricing change, or a ticket type for Members who are logged in to the site so they get free tickets?

I have a situation where we have Members and Public booking tickets. Members need to get a free ticket and Public pays a price. So if there is a way to set a ticket availability based on whether someone is logged in or not that would work, or if logged in members get a 100% discount or something?

Further complicating matters, we also have periodic free Public events – but this can simply be a free ticket for all users.

Hi David,

Thanks for your post. Sounds like a really cool site! There is not a built in way to do this kind of members/public pricing. I know that some users of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO have used custom user roles to makes Members only sites and calendars. It’s possible that a combination of that, some customizing, and/or a WooCommerce extension might be able to achieve what you’re looking for. However, since it’s pretty outside of how the Events Calendar and Tickets plugins are designed, we wouldn’t be able to provide much assistance.

I recommend that you get in touch with the good folks over at WooCommerce and see if they have an idea or extension that could help you. You might also poke around the forums here and see what other people are using to do Members-only sites. Please let me know if you have any other questions, and good luck!
