ParticipantOur client is offering classes for parents and their children. A parent can purchase a single ticket for $150 and a ticket for their second child for $75. But the total number of children should not exceed 8. Do you have any advice on how to configure that? I currently have it set up with two ticket SKUs.

Are you saying you have 2 tickets available for purchase:
- one parent + one child = $150
- a parent’s additional child = $75
So a parent with 5 children should select one of the first ticket and four of the second ticket, for a total of $450 — but no parent should be allowed to purchase more than 7 of the second type of ticket — correct?
We don’t have such advanced quantity logic available, but you could suggest it as a new feature at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
Please do add your feature request there.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.

My best guess at how to pull this off would be to add some custom CSS and JS/jQuery to accomplish this.
You might be able to reference this code snippet to get started with what you’re wanting to customize.

ParticipantNot quite. A parent would only buy a max of 2 tickets; one of each type and the entire event would have a limit of no more than 8 tickets regardless of type.
So in the case where 4 parents come and each bring 2 kids or 8 parents come with 1 kid or any combination. The inventory for the event needs to be 8 regardless of type.
