ParticipantI can’t get the map view to work. You can see the events in the background but the loading icons never goes away and the map doesn’t show the location of the events.
Errors:

ParticipantHowdy Crossover!
Thanks for sharing your system info. Very helpful here.
When I view your site I get all manner of mixed content errors alongside the broken calendar:
Mixed Content: The page at [redacted] was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure font [redacted]. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.Of course the link you shared to your site is via HTTPS. If I load your site with HTTP instead, the errors go away. This is likely an indication that WordPress is not properly setup to support HTTPS. You will see these errors with any WP Plugin that uses the WP Ajax API, ours included.
Are you familiar with setting up HTTPS on WP? If so you just need to run finishing configuring it. If you’re not, did your host set you up with HTTPS? They might be able to help you out here. Typically you have to involve them anyways. You might be interested in just turning it off. A lot less hassle that way.
Does that all make sense? Will that work for you? Please let me know.
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Brook!
I don’t know, this HTTPS issue… I’m asking a developer about this… I was already checking this error but what about the map view?
I read a lot of topics on your forum mentioning the same issue… I tried everything you mentioned and did not work!

ParticipantI’d be happy to explain this a bit more. 🙂 Anytime there is a JavaScript error this happens. This is the nature of JavaScript and just something all websites have to live with. There are millions of different causes for halting JavaScript errors, but they all result in JavaScript not working anywhere on the page. Typically the most visible thing on the event pages that relies on JavaScript working is the loading spinner, but drop down menus, maps, contact forms, all kinds of things can stop working as well. So yes, we certainly do see a lot of “loading spinner not working” topics. But if you read through them you will notice the cause is different nearly every time.
In your case the cause is that your server isn’t configured properly to work with WordPress. Basically you need to either disable HTTPS to make it WordPress compatible, or setup WordPress to fully work with HTTPS. Depending on your website host this can be a very simple process or a very complex one. And unfortunately it’s not one I can really assist you with. But, once your server and WordPress are configured to work together, that JavaScript error should go away and every plugin that relies on the WP Ajax API, including ours, will start working.
Does that make more sense now?

ParticipantOk, Brook!
I asked a developer for some help… He’s checking what’s happening…
Let’s see…I’ll let you know the results!
Thank you for this moment.

ParticipantYou are welcome crossover. Thanks for your understanding here, I wish setting up HTTPS was more universal and I could be of more help.
Let me know what I can do or if your dev has any questions. Cheers!
