Map not showing when using the tribe_events shortcode

Okay trying this again...

I’m working on a site that’s using The Events Calendar Pro and Community Events and that needs to have the events that are added by the public displayed in map form. The map displays when I change the default setting to map, but not when I use the tribe-events shortcode. I’d like to be able to use the shortcode so I can add instructions and other things to the page (I’m not sure how to do that on the /events template).

You can use the tribe_events shortcode to display a specific view using the view attribute like the following:

[tribe_events view="photo"]
