Map issue

Hi

At the moment I have entered only events around Zurich, Switzerland.

What puzzles me know is the following: When I search for events in New York, the map shows me New York. When I search for events in Berlin, the map doesn’t show me Berlin and this is true for many other towns.

Where is the logic behind these results?

As far as logic behind this behavior goes, the map zooms to where the user searches…

Do you have ideas for how it could be improved besides being more consistent with some cities and not others?

Hmmm…in your example you search for san diego and the map shows san diego.

In my example I search for Berlin, but the map doesn’t show Berlin.

It looks like an error or am I wrong?

Did you try on my map to search for Berlin and did it show Berlin?
Just to make sure we are talking about the same.

Hi Cliff

What you found out on your testing matches with my testing.

The reason why I brought it up is the following: When a user searches for a town and the map doesn’t move to this town, the user could get the impression, that the filter option didn’t work at all.

That’s the reason why I brought it up.
