Participanton our event calendar: http://sensoryawareness.org/events/map/
How can I get it to show all events in the ‘United States’ or even ‘North America’?
It works for ‘Europe’ and ‘Japan’

ModeratorHi Sara,
Thank you for reaching out. We are familiar with the Tribe Events Bar shortcomings. Unfortunately I don’t have a way to address the exact situation you’ve encountered, but I’ve linked this forum thread to the bug report for the developers to review while making improvements to the Tribe Search bar.
I wish I had a better answer for you, but stay tuned to our Release Notes for more info. I also recommend taking a moment to submit this idea over at our UserVoice Feature Ideas page.
Thanks again and please let me know if you have any questions or comments. Take care!

ParticipantOK, so I’ve noticed in the URL that you allow lat and long – Is it possible to give a geo coordinate for a center point and specify a search radius?
For instance is there a way to specify the geo location for the center of the United States and then set a search radius of x miles?
I just want to show all events in that general area.
Again, it seems to work for Europe and for each US state.

ParticipantIs it possible to set the center coordinate and zoom setting?

ModeratorHey Sara,
There isn’t a way to set a center coordinate, but you can change the map zoom setting under Events > Settings > General. (see screenshot below)

I notice you have tags for both Europe and Asia (not Japan) – does the plugin behave how you’d like if you add ‘United States’ category to those events happening in the US? If you’d like to see the option to input a center coordinate, please head over to our UserVoice Feature Ideas and submit it as a request.
Have a great weekend! Cheers 🙂

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!

MemberHi There!
Just wanted to share with you that you can set the region and language biasing with the following snippet:

We recommend the following guide for best practices when implementing custom code snippets like this one >Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/implementing-custom-code-snippets/
I hope that helps to improve the Near filter functionality for your site. Don’t hesitate to open a new topic if anything comes up.
Best,
