Map: Custom markers for different event categories

Is it possible to choose from different markers (different colors or individual icons) for every different event category? For example that category A has blue markers and category B red ones so you can see immediately on the map which kind of event takes place?

Hi Eva,

Thanks for your post. By default, Events Calendar PRO only uses the one color of pin on the Map View. It may be possible to use different colors with some customizing, but we wouldn’t be able to assist you with that.

It’s a really cool idea though, and I’d love to have you submit your idea on our UserVoice page. That will get it on our radar for future builds.

One solution that might work for you right now is to couple Map View with our Filter Bar plugin. With Filter Bar, your users could sort the events by category, tag, venue, and more- that would narrow down the results shown on the map. Might that work for you?
