ParticipantGood morning,
I just bought your plugin to use it on a sport club to manage courses and events. It works fine so far but I need to have multiple organizer for a given events. As I’m managing course, it (often) happen that 2 teachers are providing the same course. Is there a plugin, a custom dev or anything else that would allow me to add more than 1 organizer to to a given event?
Thanks for your support 🙂

ModeratorYou might try under Settings > Additional Fields and see if you can add a field like ‘Teachers’ and list them there.

ParticipantHello Andy, Thanks for the tips however, it won’t work in my case as I want the list of already existing organizer. I don’t want to do the job twice 🙂
It would be really nice to have such feature in a next release

MemberHi Pierre-Benoît,
I understand that you want to list multiple organizers, but I’m a little confused as to why Andy’s solution doesn’t work for you. Did you want them all available as default organizers?
Once I understand your problem a little more I’ll add it to the listed of requested features so hopefully we can add it in an upcoming version.
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Leah,
Sorry for the late answer (was quite busy with other stuff). Well the thing is that I listed all my teachers as organizers. If I’m adding a new fields and list my teacher there too, I’ll have two manage 2 separate list, which will not be very efficient.Or maybe there is a trick, to list in the dropdown all the existing organizer?
Thanks for the support

MemberHi Pierre-Benoit,
I understand that having two lists isn’t the most efficient or useful answer. All the existing organizers will be listed in the dropdown, but there is not a built-in way to select more than one organizer per event. You can put two organizers in the “New Organizer Name” text box, but they will act like one name and not register separately. It may be possible to list two separate organizers using custom code.
I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful. I will add this to our list of feature requests, so hopefully in the future it will be a built-in option.
Best,

ParticipantThank you for your answer. It is unfortunate but I’m a patient person and it seems that the teachers aren’t taking any offense of not being all listed on the course details 🙂
Let’s wait for the next versionCheers

MemberI’m glad that you’re patient, but please understand that the next release won’t necessarily have the functionality you’re looking for. But hopefully soon we’ll have something that works for you- or you’ll figure out a way to custom code it 🙂
Thanks,
