Hi, when I tried to do a search for this, nothing came up. Is there a way to get the side columns from my website that has menus and ads visible when in the Events Calendar? When in the events calendar only the top menu is visible. Since not everything on the site is listed in the top menu it interferes with site navigation for some areas because they have no way to get to it, without going back to the home page. Thanks.

    Hey Penny,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

There are a couple of options when trying to modify the template that is used for our calendar views.

    1. First, you can chose to use one of the page template available within your theme. You can switch that within the Event Settings > Display tab (https://cloudup.com/cuy7jJR5HHO).
    2. If the first option doesn’t work, you do have another alternative however it may require a bit more customization. You can follow our Themer’s Guide to copy the “default-template.php” file from the core Events Calendar plugin into your theme. You can then review the “page.php” file from your theme and apply the desired sidebars and section from that page to the default events calendar template.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!
