    1. Do not install new version on production site until you have tested the update on your development site. Many things have changed. (See the change log.)

    2. For a smooth update, check the boxes on the plugins page for all Events Calendar plugins and use the Bulk Update action to get them to update at the same time. Or download and FTP all changed plugins to your plugins folder.
