I have created an additional called Buy ticket, that is a url in the settings. I have a couple questions
1. Is there a way to get this link to open in a new tab using php?
2. Is there a way to get this additional field to be a button? I’m not sure how to get this additional field to equal a button in the customization file additional-fields.php. It would be nice it could look like the add to google calendar or ical button
The best way to accomplish what you’ve described is to create a custom template override as explained in our Themer’s Guide. You would need to create the custom button using either code or an image and incorporate the Additional Field link into the button you create. You could then include target=”_blank” in the link so it opens in a new window.
Check out this Knowledgebase article for more information and as a starting point. We are unable to provide custom code, so you’ll have to take the reigns from here. For what is covered in the support forums, please review our What support is provided for license holders? Knowledgebase article. Let me know if this makes sense and best of luck with the customizations. Cheers!
Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
