Main links removing initial /

hi, in the past fews days the main links in the calendar stopped working. If i click the next month link or the back to all events links from an individual event page it removes the root / thus resulting in an error.

So instead of going to:
http://testsite.com/events/2015-10/

It tries to go to:
http://testsite.comevents/2015-10/

which obviously breaks. Which core file or setting can i change this in? I’ve tried resaving the site’s permalinks and that did not help at all.

This was a conflict with the Root Relative URLs plugin. i disabled that and now it is working again.
