ParticipantHi, no bugs, just some information question which I haven’t found answers too. Can you please respond?
When using Events Tickets Plus I find that each ticket generates a product in WooCommerce that is part of the admins Product-archive. Since I have some non-ticket products too, I would like to be able to filter the product list in admin so it just shows the non-ticket products. Is that something you know of a solution for?
Other questions:
Is there a way of letting event tickets plus use an existing woocommerce product instead of generating a new product in woocommerce for each ticket? Since I organize the same kind of workshops often, I find I get a growing amount of the same tickets only differentiated by event date. As a practical matter I started naming the tickets including the event date, but I could imagine that re-using the same product might be handy too. When the generated products can be filtered out of the admin woocommerce poduct list, than it wouldn’t be that important, but I just thought I ask this too. If not, why not?Is there a way to connect a woocommerce subscription to an event-ticket instead of the auto-generation of a simple product by event tickets plus? I have events that are part of a multi-day course and I would like to let students pay by subscription (using WooCommerce Subscriptions). Ideally the subscription sale would be triggered from the event-ticket sale automatically. Is there some known sollution for that need?
And then the product image. After creating a ticket I have to edit the product in woocommerce just to make sure the presentation in the cart and checkout is nice, showing a thumbnail. Can the product image be automatically set when Tickets plus generates a product? F.i. to the featured image of the event the ticket is from? There is an image in the event meta-box, but that isn’t used also. Now the only reason to go to the product is because event tickets plus doesn’t fill the pruduct image, and that it seems that when making products is automated this should idealy be part of that proces.
Hope for some answers.
Thanks,
Hans

MemberHi, Hans.
You’ve brought up some great ideas, none of which I have a solution for…
The best route to get these on our to-do list is to request them (separately) as new features (or maybe search to see if the idea was already posted by someone else) at our plugins’ UserVoice page.
This allows others who are interested in that feature to easily voice their support. We frequently review suggestions there to find out which ones are popular, then we implement as many of them as we can.
If you post it / find it, feel free to link to it from here in case anyone comes across this forum thread in the future.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
