Matthew
ParticipantHi, I’ve searched the forums and Knowledgebase but can’t find any relevant info.
I’m looking for a front end theme to use with TEC, similar to https://themeforest.net/item/eventica-event-calendar-ecommerce-for-wordpress/10102155 but with more features such as separate tabs for schedule, speakers etc. Similar to http://www.showthemes.com/januas-demo/events/the-congress/.
Can you point me in the right direction? A search of Envato hasn’t been very successful. I’m thinking there must be a few out there. We’re trying to avoid building something completely bespoke. We love TEC functionality, just want to improve UX features on the front end.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

MemberHi Matthew,
Thanks for reaching out to us on this!
Unfortunately we do not have a recommended theme’s list to point you to. I’d say the best way to find a good compatible theme is to use Theme Forest ‘compatible with’ filter. We have many customer you use Divi or Avada, also themes from Kriesi. Another tip is to reach out and ask the theme developers about compatibility with our own plugins before actually buying.
You can also get a copy of the theme we use in our own demo site: http://wpshindig.com/download-mt-demo-theme/
Hope that helps, any other thing I might help you with,
Best,

ParticipantHey Matthew,
we are in the same boat.
I can tell you it’s a pain to find a well designed theme. We use Avada and it is getting us down to create a satisfying look.
You have to fumble into PHP and CSS code all the time and it’s so disappointing spending so much time on these things. We haven’t sold one ticket for weeks since we spend all day in leaning about techie things.
Have you made an progress in finding something that works right out of the box?

MemberThanks for chiming in Chris.
I guess it all comes down to the project’s requirements! I’m sure there’s no such thing as perfect theme for all type of projects.
Another alternative I forgot to mention is to work on top of the Genesis Framework which provides a solid foundation for you to build on top.
Best of luck with your search!
