Looking for capability to show 'list of events next week' and month

Im looking for a solution (willing to go PRO for sure) that will allow display of a list of events starting ‘today’, ‘this week’ and ‘next month’. Is this possible via TEC with a special shortcode, template tag or function? I do have the ability to set up some filters if need be with some basic instruction. Thanks!

To clarify, these would be 3 separate lists, and ideally contain a filter to hide the list if no events are contained in the specified period. I envision something like show_events_week($thisweek+1)

Any help is much appreciated.

This is a great question.

Our advanced widget and shortcodes that come built-in with Pro would certainly give you a head start: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/

As you can see, there is a “This week’s event” widget with Pro and there is already a day view built-in the free version of our plugin.

As for the “Next month” view, this will most likely require a bit of customization / template overrides on your end. You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

The good news is that our plugin is specifically architectured to allow a vast amount of control on what gets displayed and how.

Moreover, we are currently working on seriously expanding our shortcode abilities. It’s to early to provide a date, but stay tuned!
