ParticipantI have EC, ECPro, Filter Bar, Community Events so far. I need a Ticketing system. I see you offer about 3 solutions Event Tickets Plus, Eventbrite Tickets, Community Tickets and WooCommerce Tickets. I’m confused. I also see things like Eventica theme that works with the EC & ECPro so I am looking for some experienced advice as to which way to go. I am thinking of changing my theme from TwentyThirteen to Avada what would work well with that. I do also have WooCommerce. Thanks for any insight and advice. I do want the ticketing to be as sophisticated as possible and mobile friendly etc. With reports available and all the capabilitys of offering a ticketing service to Customers.

MemberHey @awakeninghearts, nice to see you again and hope all is well. 🙂
Good question. I would suggest the following:
- Event Tickets (free)
- Event Tickets Plus
Event Tickets is our base ticketing framework that adds RSVPs to events and Event Tickets Plus adds the ability to integrate and sell tickets for events with WooCommerce. Sounds like you’re already familiar with WooCommerce, so this is the route I would go. I personally like having the tickets sold directly through my own website (rather than linking out to another service like Eventbrite) and this combination will allow you to do that, plus include the reports and responsiveness you’re looking for.
I also want to point out that we over a full refund on all products within 30-days of purchase. If this combination doesn’t do what you would hope, then you can return it and we’ll take it back with no hassle.
Let me know if you have any other questions here about Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus and I’d be happy to help!
Cheers,

ParticipantThanks Geoff….but would you mention your view on Evenitca and Avada as far as working with your plugins please..
Thanks..DFebruary 22, 2016 at 4:30 pm #1080302Geoff
MemberI’ve personally never tried integrating Eventica The Events Calendar. I would say it’s worth trying Eventica with the free version of The Events Calendar. If it works there, then it’s more than likely going to work well with our premium add-ons. Looking at the demo, though, it seems like it would work with Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus.
Avada on the other hand seems to integrate quite well. We did see some early issues in the early stages of integration but I haven’t seen any reports in quite a long while.
Cheers!

ParticipantWhat about the Community Tickets where/how does that fit with the Event Tickets and Event Ticket Plus features. Does it add anything or is redundant and not needed etc.?
February 24, 2016 at 7:17 am #1081414Geoff
MemberGood question! Community Tickets is not redundant at all. In fact, it does what none of our other plugins do which is connect Community Events (the front-end event submission form) with Event Tickets Plus (the ability to create and sell tickets). It allows your site guests to create and sell tickets for the events they submit via Community Events.
So, what you’re looking at is a suite that contains:
- Event Tickets
- Event Tickets Plus
- Community Tickets
…in addition to the plugins you already have installed:
- The Events Calendar
- Events Calendar PRO
- Filter Bar
Let me know if you have any other questions about how the plugins integrate with each other and I’d be happy to help!

ParticipantHi Geoff…I have another question here thats important to me. You know how you can set in the monthly Calendar view the amount of events that show and then have a link that says whatever View More etc. What I would like to do is have that View More link when moused over give a quick view of all the other event titles listed. So someone at a glance can see what else is happening that day without having to click over to the List View. Sort of like how when you mouse over an event title on the Calendar you get the quick pop up preview. But in this situation you just get a drop down list of the other event titles that you can then go down to and click on what you want to open. If there is not a way to do this already I think you should add it to the list of cool new features. Let me know if its already doable within the backend or if it needs to be a custom job and if so maybe point to how you would do it.
Thanks…Doug

MemberHi Doug,
Oh man, no the View More link unfortunately does not show a preview of the remaining events on a given day but instead links directly to a list of all the events on that day. I’d imagine it would be possible, but would certainly take a bit of custom development to pull it off.
Any other pre-sales questions I can help with? Please let me know. 🙂
