ParticipantSupport for our theme has been continued, so I’m starting to look for a new framework/theme for our website. The Events Calendar never played nice with our old theme, which was a great frustration for me. I’m hoping that our next theme works better.
Are there any themes or companies out there than you would recommend? Themes that play nice with this plugin and require very little theme tweaking? We’re a large blog and a multi-layered website, so I’m looking for a theme that has a very simple, clean look but has a lot of options and scalability.

MemberHey Dave,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the delayed reply. This thread somehow fell off our radar and is definitely overdue for some love from us.
This is a great question. There are indeed a few extremely popular themes that have build custom integrations with The Events Calendar:
It’s worth noting that these themes have made specific customizations to the our plugins to integrate with their themes. As such, you may encounter an issue with our plugins that are unique specific to those themes and reaching out to those theme authors would be the best way to get a solution since they will be way more familiar with the code for those customizations than we are.
Choosing themes can be such a personal decision because you might have specific needs that only a handful of themes really handle. Hopefully the popular ones mentioned above will help get you started, but let me know if there’s anything else you might be looking for and I’d be happy to help as best I can.
Thanks!

ParticipantGeoff’s recommendations are stellar here. I wanted to pop in quickly to suggest some theme shops, too, if you’re curious:
• arraythemes.com
• woothemes.com☝️ There aren’t specific Events Calendar integrations at either shop, but they make great themes nonetheless.
Cheers,
