Long running processes getting killed off by WP Engine

I’ve been checking the logs on my WP Engine account, and it appears that something related to the lat/long lookup within Events Calendar Pro is taking a very long time. As there’s generally only 1 main location for our events at my clients studio, I’d even be down for just disabling that within the plugin. Perhaps a checkbox for this function could be added to the settings?

Seems like there’s a lot of other issues regarding performance in the forums, but they’re marked as private so I can’t see what the resolvement is for that.

We are having the same issue. We had to disable the calendar plugin as it was causing the server to run out of memory because it never finished/resolved the query.

Hi, Gray. Sorry you’re experiencing this.

Please disable all other plugins and see if it still happens. If it does, please delete all transients (http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-manage-and-delete-transients-in-wordpress/) and see if it’s still happening.

If it does, please tell me how many Venues you have at wp-admin > Events > Venues (send a screenshot of the total published, draft, etc.)

Finally, please send a link to the Single Venue page of the main venue you use.

Well, yes, disabling all other plugins from the cloned staging site does seem to eliminate the server errors, but that’s not really an option for most sites, as you can see from the attached screenshot.
I also uploaded the complete error log, but since your uploaded doesn’t accept .txt files, I renamed it to a .jpg

I recently ran the “recurring event cleanup tool” which did help reduce the db bloat, but still getting some errors.

I had already deleted all the transients unfortunately, and still get many errors.

We only have 3 venues in place.
