Listings of Category problem

When in an event, whan i click on the category link it says:

No upcoming events listed under What’s on. Check out past events for this category or view the full calendar.

Can you help?

I am seeing this same issue on my site. here is a link:

If you click on the category link on this event page (“New York City”) it says “No upcoming events listed under New York City.” However I currently have 9 events live in this category I’m running the latest version of 2.05 for Events Calendar & Events Calendar Pro. I was also sure to save permalinks, just in case but still have the issue.

Hi guys, my first thought is that it might be a plugin or theme conflict. Can you please try deactivating all other plugins and/or switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out a conflict?

I tested as you suggested and it was a conflict with a plugin (Easy Content Types). However, it’s a plugin I cannot do without, so I guess I’ll just need to turn off categories in Event Calendar for now. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hey Timothy, sorry to hear about the conflict. We can’t guarantee compatibility with all plugins and themes out there. What I would suggest is manually registering your custom post types and taxonomies and using a plugin like http://www.advancedcustomfields.com/ for your custom meta boxes – I use it extensively and it seems to work fine with The Events Calendar plugin.
