List Widget: delete string "View All Events in Category"

Hi there,
i’m currently displaying events with the advanced list widget. Is there a way to get rid of the string “View All Events in Category” that is posted below the events displayed in the widget? what file do i have to edit? thanks in advance!

There’s no particularly clean way to do this right now that I can see, but something like this snippet (which you could drop into your theme’s functions.php file) might do the trick. Does that help?

it’s gone but now my whole theme is messed up so i had to comment it out again

OK – that’s a shame but it may not work in all cases.

Since it doesn’t resolve the problem in your case and – unfortunately – the text itself is not in an overrideable template (so the normal avenues for customization aren’t going to work here) you could alternatively try setting up a translation targeting that string – or else make use of the translation filters.

However, we’d need to leave it to you to investigate a different approach as this is really customization territory.
