ParticipantHi
List view seems to be having issues once I click on the next events button to see more events. First page looks good but the next page is out of order – by months and dates. I am a newbie to wordpress and themes so not sure what to look for. It does it both when I enter page from widget or from main page.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Victoria,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Definitely looks like something strange going on here. On the surface it seems like there may be a filter on the view that is causing it to display events by publish date (potentially) rather than by the event date.
To start, have you tried following our Testing for Conflicts procedures to ensure there isn’t an issue with an existing plugin or theme?
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Victoria,
Thanks for following up with us.
If there is a theme conflict, you can start by looking for a few things first:
- Check your theme folder and see if it includes a “tribe-events” folder. If it does, there could be an old template in there that could be causing the conflict. If so, you can remove the template or update it with the newer elements from the latest template that you can find within the “views” folder of our plugin.
- You can look through your theme’s functions.php file and see if there are any global modifcations to the loop. Look for stuff such as “pre_get_posts” to see this sort of thing.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey barrywales,
Thanks for your note here. Would you mind opening a new thread since the nature of the issue is probably different due to the themes used. This also helps us to ensure we’re able to give each customer a full and complete response without having to juggle multiple issues/solutions within the same thread.
Victoria,
Would you be able to send a link to download a zip of your current theme? I can’t make any promises for a solution but I will take a look at it to see if anything stands out as a potential conflict.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Victoria,
A dropbox link would work fine.
Thanks!

ParticipantHey Victoria,
Thanks for providing the download!
I spent a few minutes looking through the files but unfortunately didn’t see anything that stood out as being a definitive item that I think would be causing the issue. One direction that you can investigate further is the pagination (functions/pagination.php). You can take a look there or remove the call for this function (functions.php line #152) and see if that helps.
Thanks!
