ParticipantWhen I switch over to list view, it doesn’t display any of the events.
My calendar is located here: http://exploreclarion.com/clarion-events/

ParticipantHi Jason,
Just to cover the basic things first – do you have the latest version of the plugins (v2.0.4 for both PRO and the base) installed? Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to rule out a conflict? Have you made any customizations to the plugin that could be causing a problem? Have you tried flushing your permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks? Let’s start with these things and go from there…
Thanks,

ParticipantHey Jason, would you mind providing me WP admin access to take a closer look? Please email to jonah [at] tri [dot] be
When you visit Settings > Permalinks it flushes them automatically so that didn’t work. Not sure what else could be the problem but it sounds like a theme/plugin conflict.
If you give me access I’ll see what I can see.

ParticipantHi Jason, it looks like you never ran the migration script when you updated the plugin from 1.6.5 to 2.0 – http://cl.ly/1e0a463j0Y0n0G3e0A46. I would suggest doing this first because there are probably settings and database stuff that hasn’t been properly migrated yet. Make sure to backup first and follow all the upgrade procedures outlined here: https://theeventscalendar.com/migrating-from-events-calendar-1-6-5-to-2-0
Let me know how that goes.

ParticipantI haven’t tried the previous suggestion about the migration script. However, I’m having the same exact issue on another site. It’s a different theme and I’m still experiencing this problem. I’ve deactivated all plugins and I have the same issue.

ParticipantHey Jason, have you run the migration script on this other site? What version of the plugin is it running? Have you tried switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to see if it’s a theme conflict? Have you tried flushing your permalinks? Try all those things and report back.

ParticipantWith the new site, I downloaded and installed the latest versions of the plugins. The migration script wouldn’t be necessary in this case, right? Tried flushing the permalinks. I don’t feel comfortable switching themes. The last time I did this, I had several issues when switching back. Is there another avenue we can take?

ParticipantHave you tried disabling all other plugins? You could try that before switching themes but that’s the next thing to take a look at… Do you have a link for this other website?

ParticipantThe link is explorevenango.com

ParticipantHey Jason, try disabling other plugins to see if there’s a conflict and if that doesn’t work try going to Settings > Reading and re-saving there.

ParticipantThis is the one that is causing the conflict: Frontpage Manager (http://kirilisa.com/projects/frontpage-manager/). I’ve used the frontpage manager plugin for several months and there was no conflict until recently.

ParticipantI really need to use both of these plugins, so i’d like to keep them both activated.

ParticipantHi Jason, unfortunately we don’t have the resources to troubleshoot or ensure compatibility with all plugins so you’ll need to figure this out on your own.

ParticipantHow can I remove the Event List tab?
April 9, 2012 at 2:49 pm #17749Jonah
ParticipantYou can either remove it in the templates (make sure you override the template files – https://theeventscalendar.com/faq/what-are-template-overrides-and-how-do-i-do-them/) or hide it with CSS.
