Hi,

I am trying to move the picture to the left of the description like here:
http://wpshindig.com/events/list/?tribe-bar-date=2017-08-15&tribe_dayofweek%5B%5D=2
and also have the text wrap around it.

How can I do that? Here is my calendar in action.

Let me try to help you with that.

You can achieve that by customizing our templates following the steps provided in out Themer’s Guide. For that specific view, you should customize the single-event.php template file located at /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/list/.

I can see you are using Avada theme which I know it customizes our templates by overriding them. You can find those template overrides at  wp-content/themes/Avada/tribe-events/ directory.
