List View Date Picker behavior: Pick Month instead of Date

    Hi there,

    in month view date picker shows the months of the year and by clicking on a month this month ist shown.

    in list view date picker shows the days of the actual month. Bay clicking on the month name on top of the datepicker the “month picker” opens like in month view (listing all the months instead of the days). So far so good.
    Now when clicking on a month _here_ instead of listing all events of that specific month the view changes back to date picker showing the days.

    Our costumers aren’t very used to internet, but a bit old fashiond. They do not understand this. They tray desperately to click on a month to have this month’s events listed in list view.

    How can I change the behavior of the date picker, so that the month picker will put in “05-2017” into the filter in list view like in month view – instead of toggeling the day date picker?

    (I hope this description is understandable…?)

    I see exactly what you mean. Unfortunately, to change the behaviour of the datepicker would involve some custom development to the Tribe Events Bar.

    First off, I do want to note that we are fairly limited in how much we can support custom development questions like this.

    That said, I’d be happy to at least point you in the right direction as best I can.
