    1. The view of the events on this page fills in the content in a large block of text. How can I change this to only present a short amount of information and a read more link? Or change the content format. (In the single Event, it is listed in bullet points and has an image but in this view its a block of text.

2, The Events Template page only gives me three options. Default Events Template, Default Page Template, or Blank Page,
How can I create a new page and use it for the template page for the list view of events on the Events page? Where do the templates reside in the file folders?

    Hi, Connie.

In our forums we keep our threads focused on just one issue at a time to ensure we fully answer each of your questions/issues. Please keep this in mind for the future and start a new thread for your additional questions from this thread. Thanks for your understanding, and I’ll answer only your first question:

Please reference https://theeventscalendar.com/the-trouble-with-excerpts/ and let me know if you’d like additional assistance with your List View’s excerpts.

FYI: you can customize the List View via our Themer’s Guide.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
