    Hi!

I’ve installed the List Venues and Organizers Shortcodes plugin however it’s not working. When I use the shortcode the following appears:

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘post_type’ in /homepages/30/d648578034/htdocs/clickandbuilds/SVSTest/wp-content/plugins/tribe-ext-list-venues-organizers-shortcodes/tribe-ext-list-venues-organizers-shortcodes.php on line 269

I’ve gone through and done the usual troubleshoot stuff, checking for conflicts with the theme, plugins etc but their doesn’t seem to be a conflict there. I’ve also wiped caches etc.

    Help would be greatly appreciated!

    Ben

    Hi Ben!

Thanks for getting in touch with us!

I’m not able to reproduce the same issue you are having, so let me help you find the source of that error.

First, I can see you are using older versions of our plugins, so please make sure to update to the latest versions and see if the issue goes away. Remember you can always download our plugins from your downloads page > https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/

We always suggest to setup a dev/staging site so you can test things out without disrupting the live site.

Let me know how it goes.

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hi Victor,

Thanks for your response. I’ve updated the plugins and the issue hasn’t been fixed. Any other suggestions?

We’ve got a dev site however we don’t have a second license for the pro plugins which stops us from developing Event Calender features on it.

    Hi Ben,

I’m sorry to hear that is still a problem.

Did you happen to notice a difference when deactivating all other plugins or switching to a default WordPress theme, like Twenty Seventeen? What happens if you try deactivating all plugins and switching to the Twenty Seventeen theme together? Do you notice a difference then?

If you see no difference in those conditions, then we’ll need to do some deeper troubleshooting.

We’ve got a dev site however we don’t have a second license for the pro plugins which stops us from developing Event Calender features on it.

We don’t limit any of our plugins functionality if you don’t have the license active on your site. You just won’t get automatic updates for it. So, you can get latest version of Events Calendar PRO from your downloads page and test things out on your test site.

Please let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,
    Victor
