list page order is created date, not event date

Hello, I am sure this is a theme specific issue since when I revert to a WP default, it goes away. I and a collegue have been digging but really can’t make any headway so we are hoping for direction please.

The list view for coming events:

Is orderingby the event post created date (it seems) and not the event start date. The widget on the far lower right side is correct, but the list content area is not.

Any direction would be appreciated, so we can get the event listing to display by event start date going forward from today. We look forward to more PRO licenenses assuming we can jive this list view with our theme(s).

Hi!

Sorry you’re hitting difficulties.

I can’t actually replicate if I activate your theme locally: though there are some other breakages (the post editor seems to break) the actual order of events is as expected.

I wonder if the problem may be compound in nature? If you set up a test site running just The Events Calendar and your theme, and create some test events, do you see the same thing? Assuming for the moment you don’t you could then start adding everything else that exists on your live site (and indeed building up any settings etc to match).

Is that possible here?

At least this morning, it seems to me they are the same in each case – both are in order – did you manage to resolve this?
