List of events using short code is not showing all events

I have 8 upcoming events for one of my camps. I am using the short code
[ecs-list-events cat=’lil’] to show on a page. I have tested on both a basic page and one created in Live Composer and it does not work in either place. It seems to cut off showing only events in June.

My events cover the summer.

You can see all of the events listed here. Choose the tag Ladies in lab coats to see them all. It works great in the events link.

It does not help me if the people can only see some events. Parents need to view whole summer.

I found where I could over ride. Thanks. I do have another question: I do want to know how to have the search bar on the side show up as the default.

Hi Kelly,

Glad to hear you were able to locate how to do the override — nice work!

You can set Filter Bar to display on the left side of the calendar on the Events > Settings > Filters screen:

That will place the Filter Bar on the left side of the calendar on the main calendar page. I do want to note, however, that Filter Bar is not currently supported by shortcodes — you may already be aware of that, but wanted to mention that to help avoid any possible confusion up front. 🙂

We typically like to keep support threads to one topic at a time, but let me know if you have any other questions about the search bar settings and I’d be happy to help as best I can.
