Hello Gabriel, did you by any chance change your “Events URL slug” under “Settings”? If so, that would change the URL, and the old slug would become an error page because it would no longer exist.

The URL settings can be found under the WordPress settings menu, in the section that says “The Events Calendar.” The URL of your events should be indicated there.

thanks for the reply, no i did not change the “Events URL slug” , i did do it from the initial setup so that i would be in spanish. Events=calendario and single event=evento
but since doing this intial setup i have not changed it again, can you tell me how to reset it or get it working again

Hi Gabriel. The easiest way to reset it would be to return the slugs to /events and /event, respectively. I would however be interested in seeing what happens if you set the default view (under Settings -> The Events Calendar) to “list”, instead of grid/calendar. Does the same problem occur?

If you find the issue is still happening with the slugs returned to their original form, please let me know. Please also let me know if the behavior changes whether or not you have your site’s language (in wp-config) set to es_ES. I will continue working to get this resolved from there.

Hi there Gabriel. Thanks for confirming as much. I just took a look at your site and it looks like the issue here is that the “upcoming” slug wasn’t translating. If you set the list view (for the link you just mentioned) as http://salsaylatinjazzfestival.com/events/upcoming/, it will show the upcoming list. Removing the ‘upcoming’ reference (so it’s http://salsaylatinjazzfestival.com/events/) will in turn yield the ‘calendar’ view.
