List of Attendees + RVSP + Payment

I did a bunch of reading of forum items here. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for.

I want to preload a list of members (only these members can RVSP/attend)
Show that list on a page.
Allow the member to click their name.
RSVP for the event
Pay for the meal (add additional guests as necessary).
Update the list of members attending.

So, I assume I use Events Calendar (I think free is fine?)
Add Event Rocket
Add WooCommerce Ticket Add-on.

Does this sound like it works?
Only thing I never read was how to display a list of attendees.

On additional thought. I am not married to WooCommerce (just have some history with it), so if using Eventbrite (which I have not used) fits my scenario better, let me know. I was just hoping to avoid their fees.

Hey Scott,

Nice work reading up on the plugins! You’ve pretty much hit the nail right on the head.

Listing attendees is not a supported feature at the moment. We are working on a RSVP function that should help with this, which is currently in testing.

Speaking of RSVP, Event Rocket is no longer maintained, so it might not be the best solution. Most of the features from it are being included in the 4.0 release of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, so it would be a short-term solution until those new versions are released.

So, in short: The Events Calendar, WooCommerce Tickets and WooCommerce sound like a goof combo for you. You won’t be able to list attendees yet, so that’s the one shortfall.
