I have been using the Event Calendar for a year, suddenly the List view is formatted incorrectly. It appears either that the text is too big or that the column sizes are off. Go to http://www.virginia.gop/events/ and see for yourself. I have changed the default style sheet and none of the 3 seem to work properly.

Please advise how to fix this – everything seems okay besides how it looks.

    Hey David,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I took a look at your site and it appears that your theme is including additional styles that are causing the size issue you’re describing. For example, the “h2” for the event title within the list should be 18px in size if the default styles were being used. However, the stylesheet within your theme has them set to 39px!important forcing them to be the larger size that you’re seeing. You can adjust the size by updating the sizes within the custom css file within the theme.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!

Josh thanks, where do I update the css? I don’t want to make that change them across the site, but rather just for the event listings. Curious why this is happening now when it didn’t for the last 9 months we’ve been using the great plugin.

    Hey David,

Thanks for following up with us!

You can add the css to your theme’s (or preferably child theme if you have one) stylesheet. You could also create a new “tribe-events.css” file within a “tribe-events” folder within your theme and add there.

When adding, if you want it to only impact event displays, you can preface the rules by targeting “.tribe-events-page-template”.

Let me know if this helps.

    Thanks!
