    hi,

List, Day and month view are no longer working. I get the error “No posts found”. Also the “View More” link in the Calendar Widget is no longer working, as are any links that refer to an event category.

It seems the culprit is the plugin to set the Admin panel in English (English WordPress Admin). As soon as I activate this one, these errors occur (I found a similar case in this forum but cannot find it anymore).

The problem is that the Dutch link no longer works while the English link does.
    http://www.wtnschp.be/events/today/ works
    http://www.wtnschp.be/events/vandaag/ does not work

But the calendar still generates Dutch links, causing the problem. While I can understand this is an “incompatibility” with a plugin, it’s still intriguing that the Pro views Week and Photos view do work, while the views of the free calendar do not.

Is there a workaround available as we do have to have our admin panel in English. Thanks!

    Hi @Bart,

If the issues only occur when you activate that plugin, then unfortunately I’m sorry to admit that this sounds like a straightforward plugin conflict. This means that no, there are no workarounds at the moment.

The behavior is indeed interesting, in that it works with some views but not others; but the plugins cannot currently be used together without issue, it seems.

I’m sorry about this! 🙁 Please let me know what you think and if there are any further questions I can help address.

    Sincerely,
    George

I understand. I don’t know enough about the plugin architecture of WordPress to fix this, but would it be possible to address this by changing the order in which plugins are loaded? Maybe we can change this on our end.

    Hey @Bart,

Thanks for the fast reply here.

Your question is interesting, and it is possible that simply adjusting the load order of plugins would make a difference here. This is, however, admittedly quite unlikely in my opinion.

Regardless of that opinion, manually dictating the plugin load order is something quite complicated and not something that I would personally recommend. It’s not something we can assist with, either 🙁

But it is possible. Here’s a plugin that allegedly lets you control plugin load order: https://wordpress.org/plugins/plugin-organizer/

I have no experience with that plugin and cannot attest to its quality, but there’s also manual code you can try, such as that exemplified in this blog post: http://stv.whtly.com/2011/09/03/forcing-a-wordpress-plugin-to-be-loaded-before-all-other-plugins/

    I hope these links help!

Best of luck with your customizing,
    George
