Linking from Calendar Events to Posts?

I have a client that is an auctioneer and I built him a website that is currently using the free Events Calendar on the site. We are looking at upgrading to the PRO version, but I need to find out if there is a way to make it so that if someone clicks on an event on the calendar or on the list view on the widget that it will take them directly to the auction post instead of them having to go to the event page and then having to click on the post link to get to get to the auction post?

We are trying to remove an extra step and make it easier for their clients since all the information needed is on the post. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the interest in your plugins. That sounds like an interesting customization that I think is possible, but it is not a feature of Pro. Also, we try to help out with customization, but it is beyond the support we can provide to help on an entire customization.

I think you could pull this off without Pro. If you follow our themer’s guide:

You can modify the links in the templates to where you want to send them.
