I need a calendar with the option of linking an event I create to an existing URL on my site (specifically a Woo Commerce product, which is an education course with a specific date). It seems like all these WordPress calendar plugins only allow you to add events you create through the plugin itself to the calendar.

Can your plugin do what I need – bypass the default event creation and instead link to an existing page/post/product when the “event” title is clicked on the calendar view?

If not, are you aware of another calendar plugin that can do this?

I very much appreciate your help.

    Hi Sean,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin!

It’s not possible to bypass the default event creation and instead link to an existing page, post or product when the event title is clicked on the calendar view.

That being said, with a bit of coding, you could customize the template for the calendar view.

If you need technical help, please have a look at the Support forum for the Events Calendar.

    I hope this helps!

    Cheers,

    Jeremy
