Participant#1 Can’t move to next/previous months. If I deactivate the PRO version, then I can see the next/previous months so it feels like a conflict between the free and PRO versions.
#2 I can’t see events in the calendar. There is an event on October 6 but i can’t see it in the month view. If you click on October 6, you’ll see it, but if you look at the month view, you won’t.
#3 Search issue:
When i switch from Month view to list view, I get a notice that says “There were no results found for “Search”.” even though I didn’t do a search, just switched views. Is there a way to remove the word “search” from being the default in the event search area.
Here’s a screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/wdyQyO5b#4 Thanks!

MemberHi Miriam,
We’re happy to help but please do break these issues down into separate tickets. Let’s deal with #1 here – you could either post new threads for the other issues and we can try to progress them simultaneously or else we can see if any fix for issue #1 resolves the other problems 🙂
I see you noted that you tried deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default, unmodified theme: can you confirm if that resolved this and if it enabled you to identify a component such as your theme or a plugin as causing a conflict?
Thanks!

ParticipantI think we should start from the bottom and that would solve everything else. #3 Search issue:
When i switch from Month view to list view, I get a notice that says “There were no results found for “Search”.” even though I didn’t do a search, just switched views. Is there a way to remove the word “search” from being the default in the event search area. Here’s the type of URL that it creates when I switch views http://oursite.com/events/upcoming/?tribe-bar-date=2013-10&tribe-bar-search=Search&tribe-bar-geoloc=Location

ParticipantPS I got the previous next month to work by unchecking “Use Javascript to control page load”. Still having the search issue.

ParticipantActually, the javascript checkbox didn’t work 🙁 What did work was removing the search area altogether. Excerpt for now when I switch from Month view to list view, I get to “Events for January 1, 1970” (url: http://oursite.com/events/upcoming/?tribe-bar-date=Date)

MemberHi Miriam.
Looking at your site it seems prev/next month navigation is working, the calendar is populated and switching to list view (from month) functions as expected – can you confirm all of those initial 3 issues have indeed been resolved?
If not just point me in the right direction and we can keep looking.
Thanks!

ParticipantExcerpt for now when I switch from Month view to list view, I get to The The reason that the prev/next got resolved was because I removed the Events Search area but is there a way to remove the default values since they messed up the navigation to prev/next?
When I removed the Event search and switch from month to list view, the title is “Events for January 1, 1970″ (url: http://oursite.com/events/upcoming/?tribe-bar-date=Date)

MemberHi Miriam,
That’s definitely not expected behaviour – can you try our standard troubleshooting steps and see if that helps to isolate the source of the problem?
* Please ensure your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date
* Deactivate all other plugins
* Switch to a default, unmodified theme
* Now test to see if this same issue persists
* If it does not, reactivate everything one-at-a-time, testing at each stage to see if it returns (taking note of whichever component seems to cause the conflict, if indeed any do)This might help us to get to the bottom of the problem 🙂
