Link to get list of events of specific category in shortcode-view

Hi,

I’ve integrated the map view using the new 4.3 [tribe_events] shortcode into an existing page.
I have two categories to which my events are assigned. I’d like to have a link on the page on which the shortcode is that allows me to filter the result list to only show events of a specific category. I figure this must be possible, e.g. by link to a URL such as https://mydoma.in/my-page-with-embedded-shortcode/?action=….

Hey Timon,

Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!

At the moment category filtering with the new shortcodes is not supported.

What you can do is have a link to the regular calendar views with category filtering. That would look something like this:

http://yourdomain.com/events/category/sports/

http://yourdomain.com/events/category/sports/list   <- for list view, etc.

I talked to the dev team and yes, it is on our to-do list. However at this time I cannot confirm and date or release when it is going to come. We hope that it is going to be still this year.
